[The lady said Demons but I can't think of a scenario so fuck it.

Today a mutant is out at a cafe in...surprisingly classy for borderline punk chick clothes. And checking her phone. And kind of nervous and trying not to fidget with her hair.

This is totally not a date and it clearly cannot go hilariously wrong, right?]

What is there to say? I wake up, I go to class, most days I go immediately from there to stand around and explain art galleries to bored rich men while their wives and mistresses flirt with me in all manner of fashion.

[He sighs. Then kind of stares at how that sandwich just vanished in a flash.]

Flirt all day? Well now I might be jealous... [She's slowing down for the fancy hipster pizza, but still. Where is she even putting it all?]

Still...don't you have off-time? You don't get a physique like yours just switching off from bio student and hoity toity host club, I'm pretty sure.

[He's actually stopped eating because this is sort of amazing to watch.]

I do, but, really it's mostly used for studying and working out. I haven't found an dojo I really like in town, so mostly it's a gym, or I jog, you know? Nothing interesting.

...That's a fair enough. [She actually stops to consider the dojo mention.]

I grew up here, but I probably couldn't tell you where to look even if I knew what you were looking for. We never had the money for that...what I learned was off the streets, which is practical but doesn't exactly win you friends in a competitive sense, let's just say.

[Turns out people don't like it when you fight dirtier than the floor of a movie theater. Who knew?]

It's fine. I don't really have the time to keep up with it anyways, it's more just something that I want to get back to when I'm done with school, or find a better job. That kind of thing.

[He'll poke a little more at his sandwich.]

What about you? You've got to have some hobbies or something, right?

...It's actually a little embarrassing. My degree would be for history and folklore but, uh...

[She sort of rubs at the back of her neck.] Well, I made what I'm wearing right now, is the best way to put it.

No, that's great! It explains why it looks so good on you, too. So are you hoping to open up your own boutique or something, after college? Or is this just a hobby?

[Of course, he'd be completely earnest.]

[He has just discovered the fastest way to get Saori blushing and obviously flustered, also.]

I--I don't really know. I just started designing and making them to save money, I'd never considered anyone would buy these.

Well, most girls don't have the same figure to work with, but I bet they'd want to buy them all the same. You should talk to some of the little shops around here, seriously!

It's fine. I'm just...I guess I'm not really used to someone having a complete and total advantage over me.

[Reaching over to poke his cheek.] You have no right to be able to manage being so cute and have such a silver tongue at the same time, I can't even be mad.

[He laughs a bit, which might be attempt to hide the flush in his cheeks.]

Come on, right here, really? I thought it'd at least be after dinner before we got to being completely shameless.

I was born without shame, it's a condition. [She giggles, and leans back.]

I can wait until we find that hotel, then, if you wish.

Well, is there something else you'd rather do first? We have time, if you wish.

[Just innocently throwing that out there while he finishes his coffee.]

Oh, I don't know...[Just going to finish demolishing her food, then! And smile. Totally innocently.]

I do know a place...quiet, out of the way. Lit up entirely by aquariums. Technically doesn't open 'till next week, bu-ut the owner owes me from way back, so it'd be just you and me.

That certainly sounds interesting. If you want, I'd be happy to spend some time there. Then again, right now, I just want to spend time with you.

[He smiles at her, a bit widely.]

I don't see any reason not to make a whole night of it...you'll have me all to yourself, I promise you that.

So long as I have you all to myself, then, I could care less what we do.

[He smiles, placing the money down for his part of the meal, and stands.]
